I'm not like the other UX people
With over 20 years of experience as an award-winning User Experience and Digital Marketing Consultant, I combine creative design with analytical thinking to craft visually appealing, highly functional, and technically sound digital experiences.
My diverse skill set spans industries such as finance, telecom, entertainment, working in both enterprise and startups.
Renowned for my unconventional approach and empathetic design thinking, I thrive as an independent consultant, offering fresh, unbiased insights to projects.
My career includes collaborations with top-tier clients like Rogers, Scotiabank, and Sony Music, and my work has garnered multiple prestigious awards, including a Much Music Video Award, and a Webby Award!
Eager to embrace new challenges, I aim to leverage my expertise to significantly enhance user experience in my next role.
I didn’t follow a traditional path, and I don’t work like most people in this space.
My background blends UX, product strategy, branding, back and front-end code. I’ve been doing this since the early days of the web, before most companies even knew what a digital team was.
I started in a high school media lab, built my first company in the '90s building websites for the likes of Warner Music, Universal, and EMI, and then landed a dream role at Sony Music when the web was still dial-up.
Since then, I’ve worked with banks, broadcasters, retailers, and startups. Rogers Bank, Manulife, Scotiabank, CPP Investments, Sony, Club Monaco/Ralph Lauren, Cineplex, PBS; the list spans industries, but the common thread is solving complex design problems in fast-moving environments.
I’m calm under pressure, direct in my communication, and happiest when I can simplify chaos into something clear, usable, and human.
I don’t deliver fluff, unless it's my fluffy dog, Ryder. I’m not into rigid processes for the sake of appearances. What I care about is making things that work, and making sure the people using them don’t have to think twice.
Whether you need someone to run workshops with your execs, map out a new experience, or step into the weeds with your product and dev teams, I can help move things forward without drama.
